RWUA is a non-governmental, non-profitable and non-political organization working in the field of gender equity, social inclusion, economic promotion, peace establishment, fast and transparent local governing system and other socio- economic development of poor and marginalized people of Sarlahi district. Primarily, RWUA works for the social and economic empowerment of the backward communities by strengthening their structural standard or capacity. It also acts as a facilitator, so as to enable the community move forward by the process of self learning through experience.
ince the establishment of the organization, it has been working in local level to facilitate poor, socio-culturally & sexually marginalized groups and conflict affected people. With in the 16 successful years of performance, RWUA achieved many things to strengthen the economic condition of poor people through saving and credit cooperation, social mobilization, sustainable agriculture and environment improvement, women empowerment, health and sanitation, trainings, skill development and income generating programs.
Similarly, RWUA is acting as a bridge or facilitator between local and nation level, people and governmental agencies, people and I/NGOs. It has a friendly relationship with various national and multi-national socio-development agencies and implementing collaborative programs as well. Having extensive geographical, socio-cultural, environmental, religious and political knowledge of Sarlahi district, RWUA is being established as a leading NGO in local level. It is highly sensitive in sustainable development, eco-friendly development and utilization of local resources.In short, RWUA is always responsible for the successfully implementation of the project with its dedicated, qualified and experienced experts. It puts the beneficiaries in the centre of the activities and implements programs utilizing local resources as much as possible, and assistance of donors as well.
